City Mission Society

Founded in 1816, City Mission Society of Boston is the oldest multi-service social justice agency in New England, reaching more than 45,000 people every year through educational, economic, social and advocacy programs. CMS partners with congregations and community agencies to provide services, with three focus areas: homelessness prevention, youth peace empowerment and community engagement.

First Church regularly partners with CMS on various programs, including their annual Christmas Shops and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.
