Parent-Helping in the Church School

We have a large and thriving Church School program at First Church, and we hope you can support its success by volunteering to be the Parent Helper in our 11:20 am activities twice during the program year. You can choose between Outdoor Church Offering or Creative Arts.

Each parent-helping shift begins when the children leave the sanctuary around 11:20 am and continues until the end of the worship service (approximately 12:10 pm).

Consider choosing one date in the first semester (Sep-Jan) and one in the second semester (Feb-May).

This form will be updated to reflect the Church School's current needs for help, so check back over the year if you can volunteer again.

Help the Church School prepare the lunches to be blessed at Communion and distributed by the ministers and volunteers of the Outdoor Church to homeless men and women in Cambridge. Children return to worship in time to participate in Communion.
Assist leaders of an All-Church-School creative arts project.
