Lay Leadership

By definition, a church of the congregational heritage depends on gifted and generous members of the congregation to lead and shape the life of the community, in a trusting partnership with its pastors. At First Church we are blessed with strong lay leadership on our various committees, ministries, and task forces. We believe that everyone in our community, new and familiar, has something important to offer, and we aim to help everyone who wishes to have active involvement in the church to find just the right place for their strengths and gifts. Every Fall the Nominating Committee works to help identify their gifts and areas of interest, and to help them find ways to be more involved at First Church.
