CRISPAZ
In November 2005, 13 First Church members traveled to El Salvador for a weeklong faith-based delegation experience where participants will learn directly from the Salvadoran people about their lives, history and culture and also about issues such as the impact of war, globalization and liberation theology.
The trip was hosted by CRISPAZ, Christians for Peace in El Salvador, a faith-based organization dedicated to building bridges of solidarity between communities in El Salvador and in the US. First Church has maintained a relationship with CRISPAZ and may be planning another delegation soon. For more information, please contact Rev. Dan Smith at the church office.
