"400 Years“ Heritage Potluck and “Where I’m From” Activity

Sunday, September 29, 12:30 p.m., in Margaret Jewett Hall

First Church invites you to bring a favorite dish to the Heritage Potluck. Do you have a special recipe from persons in your family tree or others who have been important to you. The Heritage Potluck will take place on Sunday, September 29, in Margaret Jewett Hall, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Please bring your dish, and accompany it with a card, giving the ingredients, and maybe a word about your personal and/or ethnic connection to the recipe. This is a great time to admire many traditions and sample special treats! Once people are seated, we will be led in a brief all-ages, “mad-libs” style writing activity called “Where I’m From” inspired by our “400 Years of Inequality” Observance.
