Racial Justice and Remembrance 10 O'Clock Hours - Apr 15,22 & May 6

Sundays, April 15  and 22

As we continue to consider First Church’s history of involvement with slavery in the North, we’ll ground our conversation in Scripture and theology, seeking God’s grace. We hope to name this history boldly and speak frankly about issues of injustice, harm, and even the work of repair. Two 10 O’clock hours led by Taj Smith, Gaylen Morgan, Laurie Williams, and Karin Case.

Sunday May 6

John Stauffer and Dave Kidder will lead an exploration of slavery in the North, helping to set the context for understanding First Church’s own history of slavery in the 16 and 1700’s.
