Holy Week and Easter Worship

Throughout the season of Lent, and throughout these days of live-stream worshiping and online meetings, we have walked in the light of One who alone can make a way out of no way. Read on for information about opportunities to observe Holy Week in a time of quarantine, as we walk with Jesus through the gates of Jerusalem, and along the way of the cross… only to greet him again in the wonder and triumph of Easter morning!

Maundy Thursday, April 9, 7:30 p.m.— Live-stream Worship with Communion in Our Homes

On this night, we remember Jesus’ last evening with his friends, and share in his Last Supper together. You will need:

An open space on a table or the floor near your computer, and a tablecloth or piece of fabric on it
A candle and something to light it
A cup with juice or whatever you have on hand
A roll or piece of bread (or whatever is available)

Christ is risen! Join us as we proclaim the news that God’s love is stronger than death and can bridge any distance that might keep us apart!

EASTER FELLOWSHIP VIA ZOOM AFTER EASTER WORSHIP, 12:15 p.m.
Join us for a virtual coffee hour after Easter worship on Sunday. Use Zoom Meeting ID 445 110 271 (password: 017704) to enter. You will be greeted in the Waiting Room, and we will experiment with assigning you to a break-out group for some time of conversation and connection. Then, we will gather as a large group at 12:45 p.m. to listen (and sing along to while muted!) the Hallelujah Chorus, recorded at our Easter service in 2019.
