Women's Retreat

Join us this year for First Church’s 2019 Women’s Retreat on the first Saturday in Lent, Saturday, March 9th! We will be discerning our Lenten commitments and spiritual needs together by reflecting on four main questions adapted from prayer practices of Ignatian Spirituality: Who am I? Who is God? What is God’s message? And What is my response to God’s message?

It is sure to be a fun and relaxing day, filled with movement, fellowship and food, story sharing, spiritual practice, and worship. Everyone is welcome! Whether you are new to First Church, have been here for decades, or somewhere in between this is a time for reflection, Lenten preparation, and learning from each other. Your unique presence is cherished!

Logistics: We will be gathering at the Congregational Church of Weston from 9 am-3 pm. Breakfast, lunch, ride sharing, and childcare will be provided. Wearing comfortable clothing, bringing a water bottle, and something to write in is encouraged! It’s a retreat after all! Registration/ RSVP is appreciated; click here to complete the online registration form.
