Seasonal Small Groups

Throughout the liturgical year, First Church offers opportunities to participate in small groups for a limited time of four to six sessions. These groups sometimes are centered around a shared reading or spiritual practice, or based on the affinities of participants. If you have an idea for a short-term small group please speak with one of the ministers or someone on the Christian Formation Committee.

Registration is open for our Faith & Life Groups for Spring 2019.

Are you interested in imagining new ways of how we can gather, learn, and play in community together, while making connections with others who have similar commitments and interests? Do you get excited thinking about all the different ways in which we are a part of one another’s spiritual formation in intergenerational congregational community? Are you craving conversation partners around the question, “How do we really go deeper with one another?” You are in luck! Lexi Boudreaux is organizing a team of folks at First Church to be thinking creatively about these very topics. Not only will we be imagining new ways of being community for one another, but we will be creating community within the team as well. If you want to test the waters of deeper involvement at First Church, but committee meetings just aren’t your ministry, this group might be for you! ALL are welcome. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Lexi Boudreaux,, or in person.
